Instructions
for setting up DSL in Windows 95/98
Other Steps:
Installing the
CA-CONNECT Software • Troubleshooting
• Complete
List of Settings
You should have
a steady power LED on the modem and a steady DSL LED (not blinking),
If you have a blinking DSL LED, Please call CascadeAccess.
The LAN LED may
or may not be on solid (if your is off it will be off). If
everything is working properly you will have the first 3 LEDS (from
left to right) on solid. If not, no need to go any further. These
instructions assume your DSL is hooked up and your Network Card is
installed and working.
CascadeAccess
uses a Infinlink i500 DSL Modem. This modem has no user changeable
settings. We support the G.Lite ITU G.992.2 standard thus a G.992.2
compliant modem should work with our DSL service. We can support
PPPoE (RFC 2516) or PPPoA (RFC 2364) standards. These instructions
are for the PPPoE installation.
